Thr hop aroma hits you right as you open the bottle. Hop flavor, malt, slight sweetness. Little spicy at the end. Alcohol is well hidden. The beer leaves a real tasty malt flavor-nioce, creamy, hoppy. Nice lacing on the glass. Darn good beer. zizzybalubba (356), Elizabeth City, North Carolina, USA

Dark orange pour with a creamy white head. Aroma of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, and pine. Simply awesome aroma. Bitter grapefruit flavor with the right caramel sweetness to balance. Thick and rich body. This is killer. Hard for me to find much of anything to fault with this one. Easily one of the best DIPAs around. syton98 (40), USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 13, 2009 Very good brew overall. Poured orange/copper with a creamy tan head. Aroma was full of citrus and pine hops, with a hint of malt sweetness. Taste was incredibly citrus/grapefruit with a biting finish. A very good IIPA, would drink again. cprochak (393), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

Pours clear orange copper with super frothy white head. Citrus and floral hops. Super clean finish with a great hops flavor. Still not the hopbomb of others, but much more drinkable in my mind.
Bottle from Malt and Vine. Fantastic aroma and good looking copper IPA with nice white head. Unfortunately, it was a bit underwhelming. Okay bitterness, but I would’ve liked to see a bit more. Nice vanilla undertones and a good sweetness, but I expected a bit more bitter oomph out of the hercules. Still another good one from GD. MrManning (1635), London, Ontario, Canada

Nice lace here too. Full on piney and floral hops, orange and grapefruit, heavy on the fruity malts, some bready notes. Nice hop profile in the flavour department. Orange and grapefruit again, with mango and apricot sweetness. A bit of pine/sap comes through. Balanced malts and hops, no trace of the ABV. Quite well made. Thanks for picking this up for me Chris and Erin! GardenGabe (125), Denver, Colorado, USA

Mouth feel is creamy and full on the tongue. Taste is bitter , cloves, pepper, and some citrus all very mouth on the front of the tongue. Some alcohol in the finish lasting peppery sting. kassner (440), Wexford, Pennsylvania, USA
