aru (105), Smørum, Denmark May 17, 2009 Orange color with large creamy lasting head. Hobby and fruity aroma. When it comes to the taste however the bitterness is a bit to the week side disappointing a bit and just too little carbonate too. shablinky (10), Durham, North Carolina, USA May 16, 2009 Too malty and not bitter enough for double. Great color and texture but for the price it just doesn’t do it for me. hopHeadedDevil (5), , North Carolina, USA does not count May 16, 2009 Nice frothy head. Hazy orange and red in color. Aroma comes off more malty than hoppy. A little overboard on malt but the hopiness gives a nice balance. Overall, a decent double. studhamster (11), Idaho, USA May 15, 2009 I’m not normally an IPA person but this one kicked ass. Hoppy, bitter, and long lasting finish. Freaking awesome. MaltDawg (778), Richmond, Virginia, USA May 14, 2009 22 oz bottle. Citrus orange grapefruit aroma with some caramel graininess. Clear orange golden with a large creamy almost tan head. Citrus and resiny hop flavor with some alcohol warming and caramel graininess in the background. Medium to full body with a creamy mouth feel. Finish is sweet and bitter. Excellent. stobbe74 (655), Denmark May 12, 2009 Bottle. Pours an orange colored beer with an offwhite head. The aroma is hops (nice american hops), with sweetness and notes of toffee and alcohol. The flavor follows the nose. The palate is smooth and with some bitterness. Overall a nice and drinkable DIPA. wingman333 (233), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA May 11, 2009 Bottle...crisp and full-flavored IPA. Was expecting something more citrusy but this was drier, pine-like. Some bitterness. Felt that it was overpriced (4 pk @ $12.99) for what it was. Reminded me a lot of Sierra Nevada Pale. Barrios (852), Nashville, Tennessee, USA May 9, 2009 I think this bottle has some age on it. Pours a lacing beige head with a beautiful amber body. Particulates. Smells of caramelized malt and very mellow hops...reminds me of a barley-wine. Tastes of caramel, citrus and spice hops that are very mellow, and a little roasted. Not much bitterness. Little nutty on the finish.
