Apr 29, 2009 Pours a three finger cream head that fades slowly leaving a good lace. Almost clear amber color. Light-medium carbonation and medium bodied. Grapefruit/pine nose. Flavor is sweet, hoppy grapefruit and pine. Lingering hoppy aftertaste. High ABV is hidden. $4.50 for a 12oz bottle from Colonial Spirits Acton, MA.

Apr 29, 2009 I could smell aromas of hops as soon as I cracked the bottle cap! Pours a deep amber with a very attractive thick and dense cream head. And then...ahhhh...the smell of wonderful quality hops! Smells of pine and sweet citrus fruits. Initially, it tastes the same as the aroma, sweet citrus fruits, but then it moves on to more earthy and piney characteristics. Very nice mouthfeel. It finishes wonderfully bitter. A nice DIPA.

Apr 28, 2009 22oz. bottle pours a crystal clear orange with only one finger of white head that left a strong lace trail on the glass.
Not a strong aroma, but the flowery hops do stand out. Taste is an assault of hops with a bitterness that lingers on the tongue. Not for the faint of heart, but one of the better IPAs for a fan of the style.

Apr 26, 2009 On tap at Ginger Man. Pour fairly dark orange/amber. Aroma is floral, hops, a little malt, and some mild citrus. Also, a little sweet fruit. Flavor is fairly sweet and syrupy up front, sticky hops, finishes moderately bitter. Has some orange/citrus as well. Very good DIPA, but had the Maharaja the same night and I have to say I liked it a little better.

Apr 26, 2009 botlte at home. best before not printed by lazy brewer, so i guess if this bottle is 6 years old, and i rate it low, who’s to blame.. great divide... get those dates on the bottles dudes, i bought this bottle 5 days ago but who knows how long it took to get to scandinavia.
orange, large thick white head.
aroma is hoppy, flowery, malty.
flavor is a little stale hops, otherwise very hoppy and sweet from malts. the hops are quite dry, quite powerfulll, yields a nice dry end.
