Good lacing and retention. Aroma is magnificent. Lemons and lemon candy! Hops, pine, resin, citrus and grass. It’s all in there. Great flavor, not too bitter and very well balanced. Definitely one of the best DIPAs that is out there. Get Some!! The great thing about this beer is that it is so easy to find. FleeVT (40), Boca Raton, Florida, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 28, 2008 22oz bomber poured into an oversized wine glass. Beautiful hazy glowing burnt yellow with a magnificent cake-like head that lines the glass like icing. Really nice lace on this bad boy. The nose is full of hops with a touch of citrus rind. An extremely clean smelling, well balanced offering with the faintest hints of pine. The hops come through first and strongest, eventually giving way to a grapefruit back then alcohol. Not a whole lot of alcohol on the palate, but you feel it after swallowing; this beer warms your stomach. A nice medium body with a hefty dose of carbonation. Another exemplary offering from Great Divide Brewing. This would pair nicely with summer evening grill fair.

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 28, 2008 One of the best-smelling beers I’ve ever had. The bomber pours amber-orange, slightly hazy with some little guys susended in there. Off-white head persists. Big-citrus nose full of oranges and tangerines; something like hoppy, sticky marmalade. Flavor is bitter from start to finish, beginning with a lightly sweet fruit-juiciness and puffing into dry, gritty hops that claim the finish and offer a loooonnnggg, bitter aftertaste. And hoppy burps. I’m not usually wild about these uber-hopped beers, but that juiciness keeps me interested. Give me some lamb vindaloo or fiery Thai curry with this bad boy. rustan (13), Asheville, North Carolina, USA

Hoppy nose followed by assertive whiffs of alcohol. Substantive palate. Nice malt sweetness to balance. Lives up to is name! uhre (339), Denmark
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 27, 2008 The aroma has notes of caramel besides the hop. Perhaps also some malt. The colour is copper-red with a very nice head. The flavor is grassy, but also bitter, but very well-balanced. Naka (525), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Mar 26, 2008 Shared w/ Juart. Pours a very slightly hazy amber burnt butterscotch color with a thick fluffy head. The aroma has a ton of floral, but a little bit of citrus as well. Caramel and grapefruit. Has an extremely hoppy, yet extremely well-balanced flavor. Lots of caramel and toffee malts. Hop flavor is mainly floral. The bitterness left on the tongue is very mild and pleasing. A nice thick mouthfeel as well. Vas19 (299), Maryland, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Mar 23, 2008 Pours copper with a thin off white head. Aroma is hoppy, citrus, and floral. Strong pine and resin character. Good hoppy finish but not as bitter as I was expecting. Hides its alcohol well. Good DIPA.
