Commercial Description:
Hoppier, maltier and with more alcohol than a standard IPA, Hercules Double IPA definitely is not for the faint of heart. Hercules Double IPA is, however, an elixir fit for the gods. A brash but creamy wonder, Hercules pours a deep orange-coppery color, forming substantial lace in the glass. Hercules Double IPA delivers a huge amount of piney, floral, and citrusy hop aroma and flavor from start to finish. A hefty backbone of nutty, toffee-like malt character balances Hercules' aggressive, punchy hop profile. 85 International Bittering Units (IBUs).

Pours hazy orange with short, thick creamy head and wispy lace. Wafting hop aroma smells like a fir forest. Flavors are also piney but with a smattering of soap, pineapple, and overripe banana. Mouthfeel is soft and creamy but also oily. Heavy and alcoholic. Alright for a hop assault but lacks a certain fruity sparkle.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear amber with a medium off-white head and an aroma of biscuit, toffee, salmiac and hops. The flavor is sweetish, honey, ripe fruits and caramel. At the end the taste gets spicey and really hoppy. Great long hoppy aftertaste. Really good!

piney /resin hop nose. copper color with nice head , this beer actually has legs(glycerin) hop/hop & more hops into a long and clean finish. like i said about the decdent’s 95 ibu. this is 10 ibu’s less with more intense hop flavor and finish. go figure. better ipa imho. very good

bottled. amber, predictable but still pleasant aroma of pine and grapefruit, juicy texture, plenty of lychee, heaps of bitterness but still very drinkable

pours a murky amber with a thin white head that didnt stick around. Aroma of hops/malt/citrus/yadda yadda. Flavor is interesting enough. Same as the aroma but expands everything to make it more interesting than your regular IIPA. Citrus, hops, malts...yeah. A metallic off flavor stopped me from rating this last time, but the same flavor is still present in this one. Finishes bitter, thick. Decent and would be much better without the metal.

very dark amber pour with a nice 1.5 finger cream colored head. hops, malts and a citrus smell. very light on the tongue but the hops are huge. the slight malt aftertaste is a very nice touch.

Bottle. Used a fairly aggressive pour on this beer to bring out the nose...Very citrusy w/ a hint of spice. Very hoppy with a distinct alcohol finish. Not as smooth as some DIPAs I’ve had. It was also a very "heavy" beer. I would not seek out this beer again.
