| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 12, 2005 Deep gold in color with little floating particles and a small white head. Aroma of citrus, floral and caramel malt. Flavor starts assertively bitter and lingers to the finish with a presence of sweet malt as well. sliffy (2012), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 12, 2006 Bottle: Orange colored pour with a medium white head. Aroma has some bright pine and citrus notes. Flavor some sweeter malts right up front, followed by a citrusy blast. The nice bitterness was a little drowned out by some hot alcohol presence. Really took away from the experience. lb4lb (2011), Austin, Texas, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 18, 2007 Dark rich amber pour with a big offwhite head. Tons of floaties (yeast?)
If not for this, possibly a perfect appearance, but it was riddled with them and was very unexpected.. Nice hoppy smell, some sweet graininess, but quite a bit of alcohol present in the aroma as well, which kept it from having the great big bold hop aroma I hoped for. Taste is quite hoppy, very bitter, but tolerable. Drinkable, but not quite at peak enjoyment level at this level of bitterness. Sweetened up a bit as it warmed, and overall, the alcohol didn’t detract from the flavor too much, but I like DFH’s 90 minute Double IPA quite a bit better than this. Not bad, but not as good as I expected. decaturstevo (2010), decatur, Tennessee, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Nov 11, 2006 A nice amber pour with a slightly sticky off white lacing. An aroma of sweet malt and that piney hops aroma that make you pucker). A very well balanced beer. The malt and hops just seem to be out there on different plates. You can seperate them but they blend together very well. This is a delicous beer. Very well done. Nice smooth palate that is just a tad and I mean just a tad on the fizzy side. I like this beer. I was surprised to see the 9.1 I usually pick that up but not here. This 22oz bastard has been in the frige for almost a year. AmEricanbrew (2005), Almost, Texas, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 10, 2006 Bottle from Liquid Solutions. Pours a fairly dark copper color. Thick sweet syrupy sticky hoppy aroma. Very herbacious. Very rich hoppy flavor up front with a solid malt backbone. Very rich and soothing. This is a well balanced 2IPA. A little too much breadiness. Alcohol is well hidden. sebletitje (2000), Tampa, Florida, USA
