The head is quite good, but the lacing is exceptional!
..Colour is of dark fresh honeycomb.
.smell is rustic pine cones, fresh crushed hops, pine needles, and honey.
.Sits oh so kindly in the mouth, not overly heavy.
.The drink of Spies.
.Alcohol is very well hidden and it warms your belly up!...it beats the ole slave labor camp..
I enjoyed this beer quite a bit but it was almost to smooth, it just disappeared outta my glass, like that "__________" ..
..Great Divide has just upped their reputation with me!!

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 29, 2007 Bomber. Pour is deep copper, with big off white head and some layering in the pour. Aroma is hop and malt, a little bit of earth and pine in there too. Taste is hop, with a nice dry bitter finish. This is a good beer, though I have had better DIPAs. I actually prefer the GD Titan to this. BuckeyeBoy (1689), Boise, Idaho, USA

| 4.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Jun 13, 2004 A big tenacious tan head with tons of sticky lace starts it off. Same old clear copper/light amber hue. Same old freakin big ass, piney, fruity, little bit of pencil shavings, hoppy nose with definate malty notes backing them up. Same old full bodied hop monster. Usual overdone PNW hop flavors, piney, citrusy, resiny, oily, lip smacking, sticky, hop sweetness with the obligitory hop drenched malt underpinnings that round out this unoriginal, overhopped excuse of a frankinstinian IPA. Same old dry hop overload of a finish. Well balanced, to the hoppy side of course, YUP! Alcohol is buried by hops but still noticeable after it warms a bit. Just fargin incredible. God i love it! Step aside Dreadnaught theres a new hop monster in town! A BIG thanks to snowtiger for this one, thanks bro!
