| 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Aug 12, 2006 22 oz bottle. Nice light mohagany pour with light head. Smooth piney hop aroma that gets your mouth watering. Starts off with a nice malty sweetness giving way to very nice hop taste with wonderful bitterness tickling the palate. Very well balanced. This is my first experience with a great divide beer and I am quite pleased - I can see why this D/IIPA is rated so high. hayduke (1664), Eureka, California, USA
| 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Sep 4, 2008 From a 22 oz bottle this poured an attractive dark orange almost tending toward copper with a nice white head and good lacing. Very attractive. Nose is a complex mixture of hops, with pine, citrus, and flowers. Miouthfeel is fairly full but the flavors are so overwhelming you hardly notice because your taste buds are dancing. This is a true hop bomb but manages it better than most .Great bitter finish. Fantastic beer. Rating number 1100. I get music. GG (1656), NorCal, California, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 22, 2006 Yet another top notch brew from Great Divide. I thouroughly enjoy their beers and this did not disappoint at all! Intense all the way around but drinkable as any DIPA can be. Aroma was not overpowering but assertive in the hop and malt characters. It lets you know you are consuming a DIPA but it won’t melt the nose hairs like some DIPA’s can (not that it’s a bad thing). Appearance was simply copper in color, nice head. Moutfheel is medium-bodied. Flavors were excellent, very nicely balanced between hops and malt with neither overpowering the other. Easily one of the best DIPA’s I’ve had. MrManning (1655), London, Ontario, Canada
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 12, 2009 Bottle from Ryan’s Party store in Port Huron ON- A deep and hazy orangey pour with a frothy and sticky white cap. Nice lace here too. Full on piney and floral hops, orange and grapefruit, heavy on the fruity malts, some bready notes. Nice hop profile in the flavour department. Orange and grapefruit again, with mango and apricot sweetness. A bit of pine/sap comes through. Balanced malts and hops, no trace of the ABV. Quite well made. Thanks for picking this up for me Chris and Erin! Styles (1653), Lincoln Park, Michigan, USA
