| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 1, 2009 Bottle that ogivlado shared with me and heavy Poured a lovely ambery-red body, small off white head that went away relatively fast. Woody maltiness in the nose, a bit sticky, very light hopiness actually, a bit jammy. Light caramelly, fruity, somewhat grainy malty taste with some herbal bitter hoppiness, not as strong as I expected by any means. Ok, bitter aftertaste, a bit understated. Nice but expected more, far more. JensenTaster (1585), Denmark
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 1, 2005 (on bottle) Golden orange colour, white head. Hoppy mouth; canesugar, pine. The juniper- and pineapplelike flavours are pretty dominant. Has loads of sugars too, witch makes hard to drink when not ice-cold. legion242 (1584), Richardson, Texas, USA

Very nice nose that accurately predictated what was to come. Tons of hops as would be expected. Becomes quite cumdersome halfway through glass. By the end, my palate was shot and I neede a break. I am through with hops for awhile after this one. Saarlander (1579), Rancho Cucamonga, California, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 12, 2005 I loved the hops in this one, citrusy, abit of malt too, Poured a huge head, very warming, a little alcohol burn, but I couldn’t wait to have this one! Thanks to Secret santa for this one! TheBeerOrg (1578), Kentucky, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 11, 2006 Pours light orange with a foamy tan head. Aroma of grapefruit, bread dough, citrus, and toffee. Taste is citric, resinous grapefruit juice with notes of fruity rum. Mellow spicy alcohol in the
finish. Mouthfeel is heavy bodied and resinous with medium carbonation. Enjoyable, but nothing to set it apart from every other IIPA hop bomb. If I want hops, I’d rather have an Oskar Blues Gordon or Two Hearted Ale. obxdude10 (1559), Pottstown, Pennsylvania, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 3, 2005 Bottle Poures a hazy orange amber with a huge fluffy head that was off white and lasted till the bottom of the glass. Strong aromas of hops, the citrusy kind, and sweet malts. Some fruity notes as well Flavors seemed very well ballanced. The hops were strong but in a blunt way. The swet maltiness was a nice compliment and the two tangod in my mouth untill I had to crash theur party with a roobust gulp. Nice full fairly heavy feel and an appropriate lingering bite. Very nice, but as far as the elite 2IPAs I’ll still go with the 3F MrBunn (1538), Western, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Oct 1, 2007 Bottle. Dingy orange body with two to three fingers of khaki head. Aromas are sublimely hoppy... pine and grapefruit with a little bit of floral background notes. Flavor is sweet at first, but the hops bite comes through relatively quickly... malt is a little darker than most IPA’s... more toffee like than caramel and there is a little bit of a woody/earthy note to it as well. Hops are well done and held in check nicely byt malt, to keep thing from getting too out of hand, but the tradeoff is that this comes off as a fairly sweet and syrupy IPA.
