Commercial Description:
Hoppier, maltier and with more alcohol than a standard IPA, Hercules Double IPA definitely is not for the faint of heart. Hercules Double IPA is, however, an elixir fit for the gods. A brash but creamy wonder, Hercules pours a deep orange-coppery color, forming substantial lace in the glass. Hercules Double IPA delivers a huge amount of piney, floral, and citrusy hop aroma and flavor from start to finish. A hefty backbone of nutty, toffee-like malt character balances Hercules' aggressive, punchy hop profile. 85 International Bittering Units (IBUs).

Beautiful crystal clear copper body topped by a very nice rocky off-white head. The aroma is huge wallop of resinous hops, grapefruit, and pine. The flavor does not dissapoint, tons of resinous hops here also. Up front hops dominate with grapefruit and pine rosin the primary components. The body is wonderful, full and crea my. Yum yum.

Big Grapefruit presense, very nicely done sweet tea undertone. Huge head out of the bottle. Deserves every bit of its ranking and more. I enjoyed this one very much.

duvel tulip glass: there is a massive, tight, cremey, and off-white head that sparkles and lingers... it becomes rocky and airy with time, but oh does it take time... underneath the gorgeous head is a dark and fiery amber body accompanied by a great dark peach highlight. the taste is fantastic, the palate is wonderful, and the lacing left behind seems stickier than the salt that’s left on your car in the dead of urban winter. wow. this is sweet. this is huge! this is claiming to be god! (read the commercial description.) this is a helluva of a double IPA and definitely one of the best strong beers in the world! (of course, i'm very inexperienced at this point of time... but...)

22-oz. bottle. Pours ruby gold with a tall rocky caramel off-white head and great spotty lacing. Sweet fruit hop and a little pine and citrus hop to join in with raspberry and berry notes. Sweet fruit hop start with a pine finish. Light to medium bodied with a clean crisp finish.

I don’t really have much to say about this other than it was a really really good double IPA. Maybe one of the best I’ve had. But everything is pretty similar to all of them. rerate. Super Piney hops in aroma and flavor. Alcohol well hidden. Could rival Dreadnaught. Awesome hopheads and quite affordable.

Pours a deepcloudy amber body with an enormous white head. Aroma is huge hops of all kinds: piney, citrus, flowers. Intense hop flavors all over and just before it gets too crazy, in comes a nice blast of carmel malts to smooth things out for the finish. One awesome double!!

Pours with an amber colour and with a nice off-white head. Aroma of floweris, green, earthy hops and caramel. Citrus and caramel flavour with lot of hops. Honey texture. Full bodied. The strong alcohol is just present. Long nice finish. Very enjoyable.

Amber colour with a thick sparkling white head. Extreme hoppy nose. It almost knocks me to the floor. A little nuttyness is sensible too. Great bitter flavour. Flowery and herbal. Extreme bitterness in finish.
