Commercial Description:
Hoppier, maltier and with more alcohol than a standard IPA, Hercules Double IPA definitely is not for the faint of heart. Hercules Double IPA is, however, an elixir fit for the gods. A brash but creamy wonder, Hercules pours a deep orange-coppery color, forming substantial lace in the glass. Hercules Double IPA delivers a huge amount of piney, floral, and citrusy hop aroma and flavor from start to finish. A hefty backbone of nutty, toffee-like malt character balances Hercules' aggressive, punchy hop profile. 85 International Bittering Units (IBUs).

Pours amber with a decent cream colored head. Aroma is citrusy grapefruit with some floral notes as well. Taste is big bitter citrus flavor with a big bitter finish with some slight sprucey notes as well. Great.

Deep reddish rust colored pour that screams "drink me!". Aroma of sweet citrus and hops. Taste of hops and grapefruit. Fantastic bitter finish, you can almost chew this beer.

Top of the heap. Great aroma of pine, citrus as you open the bottle. Pours a dark copper like a 75 Firebird I had once. Taste is very sharp and clean. Leaves you wanting more. Way to easy to drink.

Bomber at Jerry’s. Clear copper with big, foamy tan head / Nose of fresh cut pine / Medium body, creamy, with good balance of malts and big hops, and smooth, biting finish / Fresh cut pine flavors dominant, with strong notes of grapefruit, orange, and brown sugar / Excellent, but lacking the complexity of the very best?

Fantastic. The hops bite into your tongue nice and harsh. Very piney, extremely grapefruity. The aroma is intense, and the body is full and hearty.

A bit of cookie, a lot of hops, and some citrus round out the aroma of this fine IPA. A bitter taste and finish let you know you’re drinking a real beer. The alcohol is barely noticeable...which at 9.1%, that’s just fine. Not for the weak of hearts, this is a fine IPA

Bottle. 22 fl. oz. Copper color with beautiful, creamy, off-white head and floating particles throughtout. Hoppy aroma of grapefruit and some malt. Full-bodied with a silky soft texture. Great sweet, hoppy flavor with a smooth, dry finish. I like.

1 pint bottle. Hazy amber color. Lovely beige head. It´s hoppy all the way - as I love it. Floral and fruity, some caramell sweetness. A very balanced beer, with well hidden alcohol.
