| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 14, 2006 mmmm....good..or great, whatever. This beer literallly hopped out of the 22 oz. bottle. The sweet floral hops were great, as if I was smelling the flowers in full bloom. Poured a nice deep copper with a lasting finger width head. Excellent lacing, as I could tell how many pulls I had from the glass. It wasn’t many. The alcohol was definitely noticeable, so that may a drawback for some. Definitely an ale to revisit. sammy3D (114), Lawrenceville, Georgia, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Apr 7, 2006 Juniper berry, pineapple, a touch of floral aromas and a malty breadiness form the first whiff. A very bubbly amber appearance with a significant amount of foam from the pour. Nicely engineered flavor with a load of piney, citrus hops and a nice slightly roasty, caramel malt base that lends a terrific balance. This one is a palate blaster with a full menu from the first bit of foam on the lips, through the piney hops on the tongue, lively carbonation and the smooth balanced malt all the way to the belly. An excellent Double IPA. Good thing I have a second pint waiting in the fridge. MikeMac (185), Wyandotte, Michigan, USA

Nice lacing as well. Aroma was filled with grapefruit and citrus with a little pine in there. Flavor was packed with grapefruit citrus followed by a buttery malt backbone. Hop bitterness in the finish. Easily Acessible Great brew Indeed Taverner (888), San Ramon, California, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 17, 2008 Smell of freshly cut grass and malty candy-like smell. The flavor continues this, and is very sweet. It ends on a piney resinous note that builds as you drink it. The beer didn’t have much pressure when I popped it - and there was barely any head. The color was a cloudy copper with no head. Despite this, there was intermittent lacing on the glass.
SECOND OPINION: After the bottle warmed, this became a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT BEER!!! Suddenly all the talk on the bottle of creaminess came true. The hops really started shining, and this became a truly great IIPA. Note to all: Serve at cellar, not refrigerator. darkninja67 (40), Boston, Massachusetts, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Apr 4, 2008 22oz bottle. Pours a rich golden amber color. White head that disappears fairly fast leaving behind sticky lacing. Great bitter citrus taste with good note of hops. Not overpowering as far as DIPAs go but well balanced. Drinkable to say the least as alcohol is fairly well hidden. Another very good offering from Great Divide.
