Lacing was being left before I even took a sip. Aromas were very sweet. Pineapple, orange, pear, some pineyness. Smells so good I wasn’t sure I wanted to drink it. Hah right! Very malty body. Big Mouthfeel. Flavors were bready up front with alcohol in the middle. Then the hop bitterness comes in to finish it off. Some citrus and grass in the finish. Sweet and piney in the aftertaste. Great Stuff Illini08 (528), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA

This is an excellent doubleIPA - great balance of bitterness and other background flavors (malt, toffee). I’d love to try this on tap- this is outstanding. segfault (98), Centennial, Colorado, USA

Coppery colors, and a nice hoppy grapefruitiness balances well with the malt bill. This is a great one I’ll be having again and again. JoshuaB (428), Detroit, Michigan, USA

The head remained the whole way down, and was the creamiest head Ive ever experienced. So good. Aroma is hops of course, but there is also some oranges and caramel present. Lots of malts in this one, wow! Starts off with some hop presence, but the silky sweet caramel malts force their way through. Finishes with some citrusy hops and some spices. Feels so great in the mouth, a great velvety thickness coats the tongue. This stuff is chewy. Yum yum give me some. redlight (1498), Winter Park, Florida, USA

Strong piney resinous aroma, with bitter grapefruit peel Pours orange amber with a solid white head. Strong pine flavors upfront, with toffee and caramel malts following, with citrusy hops finishing it out. Bitter with a strong sweet background, for a double ipa it is pretty balanced! excellent beer.
Fresh hop aroma, a little spiciness, a little sweetness. Poured amber orange. Very well balanced it has great hop character and still a big malt beer lives in there somewhere too. Great beer. Beerman6686 (1310), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

Aroma was really nice and hoppy, fresh pine notes stick out the most. Flavor was also very piney and some citrus notes as well. It covers up the alcohol very well. this stuff is excellent and is right up there on par with hopslam and pliney. jrob21 (1279), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
