A gingery amber coloured beer with a decent whitish head. This is all about the hops, but there are sweet balancing malts as well. Some toffee notes also. The hops in the nose and piney and far reaching. Lovely alcohol. just a delicious beer. Ramenen (456), San Salvador, El Salvador

Big, frothy head that dissipates slowly and leaves lacing. Aroma of hops and citrus (grapefruit). Full hoppy, but clean, taste, with bitter finish. High abv is barely tasted, but you sure can feel it after one of these bottles! In sum, this is not a complex beer - just a clean blast of deliciously pure hoppiness! agl108 (507), Manayunk, Pennsylvania, USA

Probably as much lace as I’ve ever seen in a glass. Nose is a blast of pine and citrusy hops. Flavor is loaded with hops and plenty bitter but also nice and malty. A fantastic beer. All hops up front, more balanced in the finish, aftertaste is bitter hops again. Medium body. Fit for this god anyway, but to each his own. If you don’t dig the hops, steer clear of the dumbell. The aroma is outstanding with lots of hops. The mouthfeel is oily. The flavour - wooow - the notes of generous measures of hops are on hold on my tongue waiting to be processed. The aroma hops takes the lead in this nice and bitter flavour, that never becomes harsh or too citrussy. On the contrary it also has smooth, lightly sweet notes of caramel and nuts, well guarded by the bitterness, of course. It’s simply the very best IPA I tasted at this point. It’s incredibly full-bodied and well balanced - very nice indeed!! harrisoni (6798), Ashford, Kent, England

Great aroma of strong hop, but some toffee too. Good malty structure to pull off the hops, which it does. Lovely flavours. I love the big hop finish, but it doesn’t seem to be unbalanced. Great big toffee malt carries it through and although bitter it isn’t astringent. Some sweetness from malt and alcohol. I loved it. Mind you I needed a drink after almost dying in car coming back from the coast.
