Commercial Description:
Hoppier, maltier and with more alcohol than a standard IPA, Hercules Double IPA definitely is not for the faint of heart. Hercules Double IPA is, however, an elixir fit for the gods. A brash but creamy wonder, Hercules pours a deep orange-coppery color, forming substantial lace in the glass. Hercules Double IPA delivers a huge amount of piney, floral, and citrusy hop aroma and flavor from start to finish. A hefty backbone of nutty, toffee-like malt character balances Hercules' aggressive, punchy hop profile. 85 International Bittering Units (IBUs).

After one beer, this vaults into my top 3 very easily. Reminiscent of/cross between Dogfish’s 90 Min IPA and a Stone Double Bastard, it is very balanced, yet very hoppy. You’d never know it was 9.1% alcohol. Do yourself a favor and pick up a 4 pack.

Hazy orange with a great looking head that leaves impressive lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops with a well rounded taste, great mouthfeel, and finish that is pure flavor without the bitterness. Great beer!

A wonderful IPA. Pours with very little head, and is a wonderful honey/caramel color. I used a taller glass and just admired the color for a long while. The initial flavor is just a touch floral and piney, but wonderful. It fades to a nice hop flavor, really nice.

Hoppier than most things on the planet. Massive beer, massive taste, bitter as hell, nose of toffee and hops, tastes as it smells only stronger, quite a bit of alcohol comes through too. Stays on the palate for ages, love this stuff.

Poured a clear amber with a foamy off white head. Aroma is fruity with some pine, citrus, backed with malt. Flavor is as good as it gets for IPAs. A good amount of bitterness but not over the top. Full bodied with a sticky mouthfeel. My new favorite IIPA.

A big tenacious tan head with tons of sticky lace starts it off. Same old clear copper/light amber hue. Same old freakin big ass, piney, fruity, little bit of pencil shavings, hoppy nose with definate malty notes backing them up. Same old full bodied hop monster. Usual overdone PNW hop flavors, piney, citrusy, resiny, oily, lip smacking, sticky, hop sweetness with the obligitory hop drenched malt underpinnings that round out this unoriginal, overhopped excuse of a frankinstinian IPA. Same old dry hop overload of a finish. Well balanced, to the hoppy side of course, YUP! Alcohol is buried by hops but still noticeable after it warms a bit. Just fargin incredible. God i love it! Step aside Dreadnaught theres a new hop monster in town! A BIG thanks to snowtiger for this one, thanks bro!

Absolutely delicious! Really hoppy without being too bitter, actually has a slight sweetness. Beautiful color. I'm gonna have to go buy a case before it sells out!
