Poured a fairly clear copper color with a thick, foamy white head. Lots of carbonation. Light but pleasant aroma of sweet malt with maybe a touch of hops as well. Really not all that flavorful. Pretty dull actually. After a few seconds, some excessive hops bitterness kicks in, almost like biting the white part of a grapefruit. Unpleasant, long bitter finish. Thin mouthfeel. This is the first beer from Great Divide that I did not really care for. jimmack (1221), Nutley, New Jersey, USA

Mild grassy hop aroma with some sweet malt and a bit of a metallic smell. Bitter hop flavor, somewhat astringent, with the odd metallic quality coming on a bit more in the flavor. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 11, 2006 Decent sized off-white head of fine bubbles. Great carbonation. Reduces to a dense rocky head of foam. Nice hoppy and bitter aroma. Sharp biting aroma with loads of white remind me of cascade hops. Light caramel background. Medium orangish brown in color. Light malty aroma with a little bit of orange and some dry hoppy goodness. Dry pasty finish and a little harsh bitterness. This used to be a style that I used to really enjoy. Not as much anymore. stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA

Lasting layer of foam with lots of lacing. Mildly fruity aromas and flavors - all subtle enough that they really aren’t very detectable. The malt construct isn’t firm enough to hold much. Dull, but inoffensive. rayg1 (442), Ft. Mill, South Carolina, USA
