Very excitable pour, gushing rocky head over a clear orange body. Taste is lightly bitter with hop oils and a delicious ripe fruitiness, leaves a slight trail of biscuits. Caramel and some light pine and earth. Very clean. Some wood and toast. Medium body. Well-balanced, excellent session! artvandelay (32), Ames, Iowa, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 16, 2007 Updated: Jun 7, 2007Bottle. Pours a hazy deep orange with fluffy off-white head that lasts and leaves good lacing. Aroma is good with mostly citrus and floral hops with some malt. Taste is good, more balanced than the nose. Body is light to medium. Mouth-feel is dominated by carbonation. Finish is dry and floral. This is closer to an EPA than an ESB, but I like it. FatPhil (3473), Espoo, Finland

Not an ESB. Typical US over-emphasis on 1-dimensional hoppiness. Unbalanced, and lacking a full body to the maltiness, trying to replace that with sticky sweetness. But not altogether bad. caesar (3034), Bunnik/Utrecht, Netherlands
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 9, 2007 Slightly hazy orange color, huge frothy head. Aroma of caramel malt, some fruits, hops, bit floral. Soft caramelly taste, reasonably bitter. Decently balanced, but not as overpowering as other Great Divide brews. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 7, 2007 Didn’t seem like an ESB. Too much emphasis on the hops, with no real sense of balance. Still tasty, but not what I was expecting. Weak toasted malt notes, strong citrus and floral hops. Drink4Satan (586), Bristol, Rhode Island, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | May 5, 2007 Pours a clear orange copper with a frothy off-white head. The aroma is citrus and caramel malt. I was surprised with the lack of hop presence in this one. The hops that are present, though are floral and lightly fuity. Most of the flavour here are bready malts which would have been better supported by a chewier body. This is just ok. Dedollewaitor (3736), Odense, Denmark
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 25, 2007 Hazy orange with large thick creamy and lasting head (lively carbonation). Malty caramel & fruits in the aroma. Ok mouthfeel - schockingly surprised about how little the hop performance is - very moderate. Fruity orange malty taste with the hops in the background. Good lacings. Overall im use to more from Great Divide! Drinkable & pleasant though! bierkoning (6048), La Tropica, Netherlands

Flowery orange marmelade aroma. Flowery, hoppy flavor with hints of oil and mandarine curacao. Mint and oily hops in the aftertaste.
