Commercial Description:
HotShot ESB is an easy-drinking and remarkably smooth Extra Special Bitter, brewed in the classic-English style. More assertively hopped than ordinary bitters, light copper-colored HotShot showcases clean hop flavors, balanced by its slightly fruity nose and light-caramel malt character.

Meh. Pours a coppery amber with an inch-thick fluffy white head. Slightly spicy hop presence in the nose, flavor is peppery and malty with a dah of sour citrusy hops in the finish. Fairly smooth, medium-bodied beer ... drinkable enough for a session, I suppose. Not something I’d seek out again, though.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a large sized head of foamy finely sized tan colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a transparent typically carbonated orange brown colored body and a good lacing. The mild aroma was caramel malt and malt hop. The mouth feel was very tingly at the start and at the finish. The yummy flavor contained notes of malt hops and mild caramel. A decent one but not one that I would consider buying again.

12 oz bottle. Poured a clear cooper/amber with a large white head that quickly dissapeared leaving some lacing. Aroma was of light malt and stronger hops. Flavor was very smooth and drinkable with a slight hops aftertaste. Nice summer time beer for outdoor events.

Bottle. Hazy orange colour with a medium mostly lasting rocky white head. Rich aroma and taste of caramel, fruits with notes of hope. Nice semi hoppy finish. Over carbonated.

Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Powerfull hoppy fruity aroma. Harsh bitter flavor, long bitter finish. Oily palate. Not an ESB but more like an American pale ale. Messy beer.
