Commercial Description:
Crack open Yeti Imperial Stout’s sophisticated sibling -- Oak Aged Yeti Imperial Stout. Although these beers come from the same clan, they have entirely different personalities. Aging on a blend of French and toasted oak chips infuses a subtle oak and vanilla character into Yeti’s already intense chocolate, roasted coffee malt flavor and hugely assertive hop profile. Who says you can’t tame a Yeti? 75 International Bittering Units (IBUs).

Bottle. This is a beautiful beer. It pours a very black with a dark caramel coloured head. It’s super smooth and has fantastic hints of oak and vanilla.

Very similar in all aspects to the original with a bit of wood in the aroma. Flavor is sweeter with good woodsiness in it, as well as some peat or dirt. Fantastic.

Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival 2008. Black color with dark tan head. Sweetish, perfumed, coffeish and very oaky aroma with plenty of vanilla. Bittersweet strongly roasty and oaky flavor with chocolate, coffee and vanilla. 4 years ago I liked this beer but now this is too oaky, feels like sucking a wooden pencil.

22oz bottle - dark black in color with a small head that leaves spotty lacing as time goes on. Hints of chocolate and coffee malts. Nice full mouth with a smooth taste. Overall, a nice imperial....

22 ounce room temp bottle split in pint glass. Black with lasting creamy brown head. Roasted chocolate vanilla cocoa coffee and old wood aroma. Dark roasted chocolate old wood earth old forest understated fruit and coffee bitterness. Full body medium-low carbo. Like biting into a chocolate-covered branch from a hoary oak. Brilliant!

Poured from a bomber. Chocolate black with a mocha head. Nice aroma of smoky hops and chocolate. Medium bodied. Molasses, vanilla, caramel, maltiness, coffee, and oak. Great length of complex flavors. Somewhat dry hoppy finish. Great brew!!
