Commercial Description:
Crack open Yeti Imperial Stout’s sophisticated sibling -- Oak Aged Yeti Imperial Stout. Although these beers come from the same clan, they have entirely different personalities. Aging on a blend of French and toasted oak chips infuses a subtle oak and vanilla character into Yeti’s already intense chocolate, roasted coffee malt flavor and hugely assertive hop profile. Who says you can’t tame a Yeti? 75 International Bittering Units (IBUs).

Pours motor oil black with incredible lacing. Aromas of hugely roasted malt with bitter chocolate and a bit of coffee. Flavor was robust and smooth with notes of bitter chocolate, coffee, and huge maltyness. Palate is wonderful. Alcohol is unnoticable and palate was absurdly smooth. Excellently aged, smooth and flavorful.

motor oil pour, brown bubbly head, great lacing. aroma of dark chocolate, some coffee, roasted barley. flavor is intense the moment it hits the tongue- flavor of espresso, chocolate. aftertaste thick with chocolate. mouthfeel solid but not outstanding. incredible beer, maybe my favorite impy, close to speedway stout.

Pours very black with a thick brown head. Dark chocolate aroma. Much sweeter that most imperial stouts ive had.Nice bit of hoppiness in the finish. Alcohol is obvious. Great brew.

Black with deep espresso head that coats glass as you drink. Roasted dark chocolate aroma. Smooth roasted oak vanilla chocolate espresso malt milkshake. with an oak whiskey edge. It’s so smooth you forget the alcohol except for the fact that it warms you up. How does such a smooth stout maintain its edge like this one does. Smooth after-taste leaves you wanting more and more.

The beer pour a coal black with a brown/white head. The nose is an earthy mix of roasted malts, chocolate with a hint of wood. The flavor is sweet and smooth with a nice mix of chocolate, hops and just a hint of oak. It is a good beer but didn’t live up to the hype.

ar: crystal malt. fl: more crystal; leafy, herbaceous, soapy hops. grapefruit; licorice; not so much oak for an oak aged beer.. While there’s nothing wrong with this beer, I’m still a little surprised at all the stellar ratings.

Bottle. Pours pitch black with a creamy lasting head. Wauw! Lots of hops, vanilla, oak, chocolate, coffee. Thick, smooth, filling palate. Simply amazing!

(Dégusté avec french tickler) Biere noir avec un collet incroyable ( Grande resemblance avec la grande noirceur) Odeur de mures, poivré, fleural, sucré , miel. Saveur de chocolat exeptionnel et crémeux, vanille, milkshake au chocolat, un peu poivré. Une merveille!!
