Roasted malt aroma with notes of chocolate and coffee. The oak isn’t as powerful and the body wasn’t as full as I anticipated. Vaiz (179), Netherlands

Very well balanced complex aroma of cofffee, chocolat, toffee, nuts, roasted malt, fruits and some alcohol. Flavor is very bitter with some sweetness lingering along. Very nice complexity. Decent bitter long finish and good carbonation. KornDogg (222), Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA

Strong bitter flavor, unusual for stout, but that’s not a bad thing. Flavors of chocolate, carmel, and tons of oak. Finishes clean. Very good, complex beer. gracefullypunk (352), Washington, USA

The aroma was of chocolate soaked in brandy. Very sweet, a good malt backbone, nice roasted hints bringing out coffee tones spiked with milk.
The oak really brought out many vanilla and caramel tones along with strong espresso, dark cocoa, ripe red plums and bruised pears.
The mouthfeel was creamy, smooth. Very warming, a nice carbonation, yet seemed a little heavy.
Creamy and chewy. This is one beautiful beer.
