Same raw grain taste lightly sweet, as if the beer is still in the wort stage. Mid range amber that’s palatable. mkobes (2104), paramus, New Jersey, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 10, 2007 Bottle. Poured orange-amber with a rocky cream head. Grainy and grassy aroma. Biscuity and sweet cereal malt flavor, nice and smooth with a shy showing (a trace really) of citrus hops, though the restraint of the hop hand is actually a good thing here. Medium to full bodied but very drinkable. Nothing overly exciting (since it is just an amber ale), but a pretty smooth sessionable beer. Miguel (1181), Saint-Ours, Quebec, Canada

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 28, 2007 Updated: Aug 15, 2007Appearance: Pours a bright, crystal clear orange-amber body with a fizzy, ivory head.
Smell: Sweet-smelling bready aroma with caramel and a soft, floral hop scent.
Taste: Semi-sweet butterscotch with roasted malts start with a little bump of fruitiness as you reach the finish. The finish itself is clean and quick, with just a bit of a bitter, citrusy hop presence.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Moderately carbonated. A bit watery.
Drinkability: Though simple and clean, its reasonably flavorful and quite drinkable. EithCubes (2176), Indiana, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 20, 2007 Bottle. Sweet aroma has apple cider and some dark sweet caramel. Orange-amber body, clear with an enormous soapy beige head. Bittersweet taste - very much like that of an ESB - focuses on the sweetish caramel with faint nuttiness in the bg. Touch of orange rind. Tingling mf, medium (but slightly light) body. Light floral hops last beyond the liquid phase. Simple little guy, no major flaws, but much more like a Brown Ale in my book.
