Commercial Description:
A malty, copper-hued treat from start to finish, Ridgeline begins with a distinctive, estery aroma. Followed with a complex, nutty malt flavor true to its Scottish-style heritage, Ridgeline delivers unparalleled character and dimension. A touch of hops rounds out its silky, full body, highlighting Ridgeline’s subtle but engrossing character.

Caramel malt aroma. At first nutty malt taste, then hop bitterness. Very smooth.

Amber orange with huge wgite head. Malty caramel with light fruity aroma. Taste is malts - caramel & hops. Lively carbonation - sprinkly. Moderate hop finish. Ok amber ale!

Light honey color with a medium foamy head. Slightly malty-caramelish aroma. Taste was slightly grainy, a bit sweet, and very bland. Drinkable, but boring. I expect better from a good brewery like GD.

12 oz bottle. Could this be my third bad bottle of beer in three days?? This beer poured a good looking amber color with a small off white head but had hardly any aroma and no flavor at all. I might try it again someday because there had to have been a problem with either the beer or the slight congestion that I had effected my rating.

Sweet malt aroma with golden-red colour & creamy head. Very smooth front to finish with some mild notes of sweet malts and nuts.

Dark amber colored, little light brown head. Rather mild aroma for being this brewery’s product: toffee, sweet chocolate and only mild hoppiness there. Medium bodied. Flavor is more hopped with mild caramel, still slightly watery and thin flavor. Mild lemon in aftertaste.

The color is incredible, it’s like pouring warm, golden amber into the glass. The head is delicious, creamy and lasting. The aroma is sweetish, malty with notes of nuts and peach. The flavour is sweetish with notes of fruit, citrus, caramel, nuts and a dry bitterness in the finish. It’s a bit monotonous I think.... 1805
