Better tasting than the Titan IPA. Yeasty bread aroma. Does have a slightly different charactar than your typical pale ale. Very lively, no matter how carefully I poured, got a glass full of head. Just a little darker than your typical pale yellow american beer but not a dark beer. Was not clear and had little dark particles in there. As a secondary note: I was a bit dissapointed in my great divide variety pack, I couldn’t tell what I was buying and I was hoping at least for one dark style great divide, but not. However, If i’m to give a pale yellow beer a rating above 2, it’s good! Dogbrick (2907), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 21, 2006 Pours clear amber with a brown tint. Medium tan head with decent retention, and patchy lacing. Sweet malt and caramel aroma. Medium-bodied and malty with a light hops bite underneath. Some yeast is present too. The finish is mostly sweet with a light nutty and hoppy finish. Decent, but not worth going out of my way for. yngwie (5079), Kristiansand, Norway

The nose is sweet and hoppy, with some notes of beefstock. The flavor is much the same, but weaker. Fullbodied beer that is a bit one-dimentional. It is good, but a bit boring. Very small head. Smell was bland, with caramel and hops. Taste was also bland. Somewhat sweet. Nutty and malty tastes. Overall it was ok. UNCCTF (465), Charlotte, North Carolina, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 2, 2006 This one has a creamy texture and a reddish orange sunset color to it. I detect shades of malt, pepper, orange peel and some possible spices which seem well balanced. I think this is my favorite example of an amber, a style I don’t usually enjoy. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 1, 2006 Bottle: Pours with a deep amber body and a small sized off-white head, that is short living. Fruit, caramel and hops in the aroma. The flavour is rather caramel sweet and nutty with some malt. Medium bodied. Slightly bitter finish. Not the best Great Divide but an OK brew.
