Commercial Description:
A malty, copper-hued treat from start to finish, Ridgeline begins with a distinctive, estery aroma. Followed with a complex, nutty malt flavor true to its Scottish-style heritage, Ridgeline delivers unparalleled character and dimension. A touch of hops rounds out its silky, full body, highlighting Ridgeline’s subtle but engrossing character.

Poured with solid off-white head that disappeared soon. Sweet malty character with a light hop bite just beneath. Enjoyable, but I’d rather have their IPA.

Poured amber with no head or lacing. Aroma was sweet malt. Taste was sweet with hints of caramel and something floral that killed it for me.

Bottled. Rich, lightly hazy caramel pour with a short cap of off-white head. Caramel and toffee sweetness in the nose with a hint of floral. Flavor has the same components, but adds some nutty character and there were poorly balanced sharp hop bitters on the sides and at the finish. Tacky residual sweetness on the roof of the mouth and at the finish with a little sourness... light-medium bodied. Decent amber.

Pours brilliantly clear with copper and read hues with a thin eggshell head. Teeny tiny bubbles racing to the top. Very light aroma. Touches of caramel and and hops in the flavor as well as the aroma. Watery thin. Very boring.

12oz bottle. Orange amber with a small white head. Clean grain, caramel, and hints of herbal grassy hops in the aroma. Nutty, toasty malt flavor. Some caramel segues into tinges of grassy hops with residual malt sweetness in the finish. Mouthfeel is medium light.

A sweet initial taste that’s followed by malty goodness. Theonly downfall on this ber is a tinge of a sour aftertaste.
