May 31, 2009 #200!!! #100 was also a saison, maybe a trend? cloudy pale yellow with a foamy white head. Aroma of yeasty funk, lemnongrass, and some honey sweetness. Flavor is same as the aroma with some wheat wanginess and spiciness also. Very enjoyable and very refreshing.

May 30, 2009 Many thanks to Tupalev for sharing. Appearance: Milky yellow, hazy with a small white head. Aroma: Lemon, yeast, limes, ’salty’ and grassy. Flavour: Very yeasty, salty, tobacco, citrusy with a nice long bitter finish.

May 27, 2009 22 oz. bottle. Pours a thin head with slight lacing over a light yellow (SRM 5) slightly cloudy body.....nose of spice, fruits and honey, and Belgian barn yard funk....tastes of light lemon, bit of banana, bit of bubblegum, coriander, slightly sweet to start then dry finish....mouth feel is light. A very interesting, refreshing ale which really meets its style.

May 26, 2009 Bottle. Pours hazy yellow with an average, fizzy, white head, somewhat lasting with good lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (hay, straw, meal), light hop (grass), heavy yeast (horse blanket, barnyard) with notes of lemon, coriander, dust, and pepper. Light bodied, creamy texture, lively carbonation, and a spicy finish. Long duration, light sweetness, acidity, and bitterness.

May 22, 2009 I wish there was a stronger aroma, it has a pleasing smell but not strong enough. It’s color is also not strong enough, a light yellow color. The flavor is good, but not potent enough for my personal palate. It tasted delicious though on a hot May Day of gardening.

May 22, 2009 Pours pale yellow into a tulip. Bright white head quickly recedes leaving no lacing or head. Lemony joy yeast aromas. Crisp with yeasty lemon from front to back. Unimpressed.

May 22, 2009 22oz bomber. Pours a clear light dull golden with a nice large foamy fine white head. O my, smells quite like the FFF saison rabid rabbit, urinal cake, sweet, fruity, perfume, some wheat, candi sugar, something very very funky. Flavor also is a bit similar to rabid rabbit, too sweet for a saison, light funkiness, urinal cake, sweet cereal, herbal, dries a bit in the finish but way too sweet upfront, lots of yeast, banana. Medium bodied with a sharp fizzy carbonation, a bit chalky.

May 21, 2009 Bottle at Tylers bottle shop. Slightly hazy yellow with hardly any head. Nose is fairly hoppy, bordering on astringent, with notes of bread and a faint yeast. Flavor is the same, not too much tartness (if any at all) with some clove and other spices. Kind of a typical over the top Americanized saison. Doubt I’ll revisit this one.
