Commercial Description:
Our homage to the beers that have quenched the thirst of Belgian farm workers for centuries. Brewed with barley, wheat and rice and fermented at high temperatures with a special blend of four different yeast strains, Saison is fruity and slightly tart, with a dry finish that makes it that rarest of treats–a beer as refreshing as it is complex. 7.3% ABV.

Bottle shared with Ian. Pours a hazy yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is wheaty lemony and tart. Nice light malty taste with hints of grass and lemon. Refreshing and tasty, works well by the pool on a summer day.

22oz bomber. Pours a hazy, cloudy straw/yellow with a medium-thick white head that leaves a few small spots of lace on the glass. The aroma is doughy and bready with hints of grass and grain. The flavor is mildly sweet, bready and malty, with subtle hints of clove spice and grassy hops. The finish is yeasty with subtle soft fruit esters, notes of grainy pilsner malt, and some light grassy hop bitterness that balances the beer brilliantly. The mouthfeel is sparkly and fluid with a medium-full body. Overall, this was an impressive farmhouse ale. I was genuinely surprised out how tasty and accurate for style this beer is. Very nice.

Poured a hazy golden color with a large white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, spices, coriander, orange peel, toast, wheat, and vanilla. Taste of citrus, coriander, toffee, toast, honey, spices, and a dry, yeasty finish.

22 oz. bottle from my nephew, Jim. Hazy yellow with a soft, medium white head. Aroma has honey, lemon, light fruit, and some floral features. Medium body and effervescence, very clean palate. Soft sweetness followed by a lemony tartness. Decent summer refresher.

Bottle shared with Hogtown Harry, Garthicus, Blankboy, and GregClow, courtesy of me and my trip to Denver. Nice lemony yellow, small white head. Mild zesty aroma. Good taste - very yeasty, bitter, dry. Quite enjoyable and better than the scores here suggest so far.

bomber thanks to CaryTheDude, thanks man! Hazy, golden pour with big thick white head. Spicey yeast, floral, pale malt aroma. Peppery, spicey flavor with lots of yeast and funk. Some citrus notes take over after a few sips. Great medium bodied, good carbonation, spicey finish. Pretty impressed by this one, thanks CaryTheDude!

Pours a translucent golden with a medium bubbly white head. Aroma of floral and perfumey hops, spicy saison yeast esters and bready pils malt. Flavor of pepper, fruity saison esters, pils malt, nice and dry. Well done saison.

Pale yellow with a Brussels laced head. Piquantly phenolic nose that pricks and tickles. Tart wheat fields and zingy yeastiness. Body is charcterized by Belgian funk and is full-bodied, phenols are much less pronounced. Zingy body and indistinct spiciness. Crisp. A great saison to start the summer.
