Aroma of lemon citrus and antiseptic. Flavor is bitter lemon and bandaids. Medium thin body with very high carbonation and a biitter lemon finish. A pure smell of hops which goes well with a hint of citris. Tastes of a citrisy, lemon and hops which points towards a bread aftertaste. SSSteve (2105), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 21, 2008 a hazy golden beer under a frothy white head with nice fine bubbled lacing. cereal and pineapple in aroma. very dry palate with a crisp finish. the flavors are of sweet cereal malts balanced out with the bitter rice and hops. the finish is nicely hopped. enjoyable. bubbleflubber (903), Collinsville, Virginia, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 13, 2008 Not great, unfortunately.... the worst of the sampler that I had from them. Pours slightly hazed, straw-gold into the glass with a light frothy white head that diminishes. Citrus, lemongrass and straw to the nose. The flavors are much the same, dry, with an emphasis on the straw/grain aspect, from the rice contingency. The finish is dry, not necessarily bitter, but a light hop is noted... almost subdued. Carbonation levels are "too" present, fighting the brew to gain dominance. All in all, it probably does go down well in the summer months, but as an all-around offering, I would not go out of my way to have it again. ROGUE (712), Newark, Delaware, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 6, 2008 Pours a hazy straw yellow with an enormous white frothy head. Light but crisp and sharp favors. There is a quick tang of citus follwed by a hoppy grain flavor. A decent brew. Only objection is the large head that took some time to disapate, may just be my 6er.
