Medium body with fizzy carbonation. Flavor is something like gooey steamed rice with citrus and bitter. Rather crisp and refreshing. Finish is nicely bitter. A different kind of thing. Pretty good result for use of adjunct. 502Flavors (631), Louisville, Kentucky, USA

It has soft and unoffensive flavors - light citrus at first and subtle hop finish. This beer is refreshing and highly drinkable. unclemattie (2446), Georgia, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 12, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours cloudy yellow. Thin white foamy head. Aroma is of toasted rice. It smells lke a milky sake. Such an odd aroma. It smells toasted but the appearance is so light. Full flavored, for a golden ale. Flavor has a rich malt character, followed by the nuttiness of a fresh pot of steamed rice. Continues with an earthy spiciness. Finishes surprisingly hoppy. Light bodied. Very unique and enjoyable. rmussman (906), California, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 7, 2008 Sampled in a 12oz bottle. Pours cloudy yellow with a thin lacey head. Flavor is plentiful for a blond ale however it doesn’t have a nice after taste, perhaps due to hops. Not sure if I could consume more than 2 of these, which is unusual for a blond. spikester (602), Salem, Oregon, USA

Tatses slightly sweet followed by a fairly strong, bitter hop flavor. Probably too hoppy for the style but made for an interesting beer. kmeves (1081), Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, USA

In terms of aroma there really wasn’t much. Light malts & Im pretty sure rice has little aroma. Decent mouth feel some light fruitiness. Clean & easy drinking but unspectacular as it was probably meant to be
