This beer is really standard and unexciting and gets completely average marks all around. Pours slightly hazy yellowish-golden with a small white head. Aroma is rice and pale malt, slightly sweet and very unpronounced. Flavor is mild with rice, pale malt, light fruits, and a slightly alcoholic sake note. Crisp and fairly light on the palate. Not sure what they were going for here, but it is refreshing I guess. patrick767 (2052), fort wayne, Indiana, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 5, 2009 draft at the brewpub - Pours cloudy white-yellow with a mild, malty aroma and what I guess is rice. The flavor is light and somewhat sweet with the rice apparent and a lingering mild hops bitterness. I wrote that it seems kind of wheaty, but from the description there isn’t any wheat malt in it, so that must just be the rice. It’s a decent brew but not really my thing. zach8270 (2138), Henrietta, New York, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 3, 2009 (bottle - 12 oz) Slightly hazy golden pour with a creamy white head. Aroma is dry and slightly sweet with some notes of yeast. Flavor is mild but the rice is rather apparent. Leaves a slightly fruity but dry taste on the tongue. Interesting and very refreshing. beersearcher (308), Glendale, California, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 17, 2009 I’ve tried a few rice beers and this one seems to be the best so far. You can actually taste that little bit of difference between this and a wheat beer. Finishes smooth and pretty good with any kind of food. DWestrick (247), Ft Wayne, Indiana, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 9, 2009 This beer was a strange one. I had a sample of this at the tap room at Great Divide. They also had bottles of it so it should be in stores soon. It was a light yellow in color and cloudy. The taste reminded me of a wheat beer. It did seem like a good beer for a hot day, possibly a barbecue.
