Commercial Description:
Looking for something a little different? Brewed with rice and barley malts, Samurai is an easy drinking, unfiltered ale that changes the status quo for unfiltered beers. The addition of rice gives Samurai a slightly fruity, crisp, refreshing and clean taste. This is definitely not your everyday unfiltered beer.

Grainy aroma with hints of light fruit. Light golden color with a large head. Light grape taste with a tanginess. Carbonated palate.

Hazy yellow/gold. Small, frothy, white head. Aroma of crisp graininess and a light dose of airy yeast. Flavor adds some light floral/fruity notes, grainy and lightly bready malt, and a dry, yeasty finish. Medium/light body, just a bit more carbonated than balanced. Very easy to drink, great beach beer.

boring yellow body thin white head, aroma that was somewhat reminiscent of Crispix. Flavor was a little to malty for my liking, it tasted like a more flavorful Budweiser.

Light hazy golden body with mid sized bubbly head. Aroma is grainy and slightly chalky. Flavour is grainy with a dry rice texture. Interesting flavour.

Interesting aroma, sweet, with a medicinal aroma, can’t really place it, although its not unpleasent. Pours cloudy yellow with little to no head. Very light tasting, sweet malts, there is a good dryness, kind of different. This does go down pretty easily, good session beer. Light and crisp with a slight hint of citrus.

Pours straw yellow with medium white head. Nose is faint grain and very faint floral hops. Flavor is of sweet cereal, apple, rice. Thin, slightly syrupy mouthfeel. Neh.

Light malty and starchy brew. Flavors are mild and easy to drink but not overly exciting either. Cereal like. Ok overall.

Bottle poures quite possibly the lightest colorless beer i have seen in a long time. Well, I guess the lovibond for rice is in the single digits at most. Light barley malt aroma and having tried a few sakes I recognize the slight coconut or vanilla notes that are common in those. A bit odd, but not bad. Very light bodied and crisp. Lively carbonation.
