blackmurder (164), sadf, Hawaii, USA May 10, 2008 A super easy drinking lager like blonde ale. I was impressed. Very thirst quenching. Most people rate against this style because it lacks flavor and well, it’s supposed to, ok.
blipp (724), Grand Island, New York, USA Sep 4, 2008 Bottle. Pours clear gold with a white head. Light malt aroma with a touch of citric fruitiness. The flavor is a bit sweet with grainy and floral notes. Not bad. darn1207 (255), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Aug 31, 2008 12oz bottle. clear yellow pour with small white head. sweet smell of yeast, green apples and flowers. taste is ginger and butter. long spicy finish that seem sort of off. strange mix of flavor and the result isn’t all that pleasant. rader58 (39), Leawood, Kansas, USA Aug 16, 2008 pours a very pale yellow with a small frothy white head. Aroma of yeast. A slight sweetness on initial taste. You can taste the rice on the finish. interesting concept. buzzoven (122), Japan Aug 15, 2008 Bottle at The Raleigh Times, Raleigh, NC. Somewhat muted nose of grassy hops. Lovely golden hue that allows the sun to shine through the clear yellow. Mouthfull is smooth, clean, and crisp with a slight fruity dryness in the finish. Very drinkable. mabel (1633), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Aug 11, 2008 [1498-20080617] 355mL bottle. Crisp rice toast aroma has a bit of floral and old leaf characteristics. Hazy, light orange yellow body with quick foamy white bubbles. Toasted grains flavour has a funky old floral background. Medium body. Not great.
