| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 7, 2009 This beer was very average. I was expecting more adter seeing this rating of 80. It’s almost like ’porter lite’. Everything from the color to the light mouthfeel to the simple finish. A good porter should be darker, have a strong roasted malt flavor, and a complex palate. This beers lacks any true character. Worth only a sip. deyholla (554), Bloomington, Indiana, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Nov 3, 2009 Smooth, light, chocolate... Pours pretty light in color for a porter, too. Easy to drink and the maltiness comes through well - but that’s one of the only hints you get that this is a porter. Like a porter-lite! DeadGirl (215), West Palm Beach, Florida, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 2, 2009 Pours like Coca-cola from the 22oz. bottle: Light carbonation. Coffee beans, toffee hard candy, hazelnut, milk chocolate. Balanced. Sweet. Quite good, bit thin. Drinkability: Pleasant, but I miss the heavy, full bodied smoke that follows with other craft porters. Rebuy: Sure. #180 on 02112009, DG. dkachur (2351), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA
