| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Feb 16, 2009 Really fantastic aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, and coffee. Looks good too with a very deep brown pour. The taste, while very good, doesn’t quite live up to the aroma. Mouth is rather thin. Overall, though a big winner. dogfish120love (257), west hartford, Connecticut, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 11, 2009 Huge coffee malty aroma, with hints of chocolate. The aroma is amazing. The pour is a dark brown so much so that it is pretty much black. The head started off over 2 fingers almost three but quickly settled . The initial taste is heavily cofee with a roasted malt and a somewhat chocolatey flavor. Nicely toasted yet doesn’t overwhelm the palate. A llittle over carbonated for my tastes and not maybe somewhat bland, but considering it is 6%, what can you expect charlotte (2014), Vanløse, Denmark

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 3, 2009 Another decently bodied and colored porter. Decent amount of chocolate and coffee. Finish is pretty quick and a little sweet. On the back of the palette is a tinge of hop bitterness. A more flavorful representation of this style.
