Commercial Description:
St. Bridget, a legendary Irish saint, created a sensation by turning her bathwater into beer. What better way to celebrate her worthy miracle than with our zymurgistic tribute to her feat, St. Bridget's Porter. St. Bridget's is a smooth, elegant, and chocolaty brown porter. Brimming with coffee and chocolate characteristics from dark barley malts, St. Bridget's is carefully hopped to provide the perfect complement to its malty robustness.

Crushed with Jakebra. One of the chocolatiest porters I’ve ever had. Lots of roast and chocolate. Smooth, a little thin, but still an awesome porter.

Crisp dark brown pour with a thin head. Sharp aroma of malt, chocolate, booze. Faint notes of hops. Flavor is strongly coffee, with creamy malt and chocolate. A full-bodied, pleasant porter.

355 ml bottle. Dark brown reddish color, fine off-white/beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate and hops. Flavor is sweet roasted malt, chocolate and has fine bitterness. A bit thin for a strong porter, but nice.

Bottle. Pours dark brown with a light brown head. Aroma is malty and roasty. Taste is a bit bitter with a large hint of coffee. I barely detected the chocolate undertones. Very average porter.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a thin mocha colored head with good duration, some lacing, over a blackish brown body.....nose of roasted malts with some coffee, some chocolate, with a bit of hop.....tastes of heavy roasted malts, with chocolate, cocoa, coffee strains with a pleasantly mild bitter finish....overall redolent of roasted grain....medium mouth feel...a good example of a strong style porter.

Pours a very dark brown with a perfect tan colored thick head that sticks around. Slight aroma of roasted malt. Taste is somewhat bitter, with some chocolate and roasted malt notes. Very creamy mouthfeel. Nice coffee aftertaste. Very good porter overall.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown with a tan head that is little more than a thin layer of bubbles after a few seconds. Sweet roasted malt and a kind of funky cocoa/milk chocolate greet the nose, and flavors are consistent with this: a mix of cocoa, a little bit of peat, leather and vanilla. Mouthfeel is thin and silky, while finish is an odd mix of dry, earthy and sweet chocolate.
