Commercial Description:
St. Bridget, a legendary Irish saint, created a sensation by turning her bathwater into beer. What better way to celebrate her worthy miracle than with our zymurgistic tribute to her feat, St. Bridget's Porter. St. Bridget's is a smooth, elegant, and chocolaty brown porter. Brimming with coffee and chocolate characteristics from dark barley malts, St. Bridget's is carefully hopped to provide the perfect complement to its malty robustness.

Poured dark with a nice head, smells malty. Goes down really smooth. Taste a little coffee and chocolate flavor. Not bad for a porter (which are not my favorite) but an ok beer.

Pours a murky, somewhat watery dark brown. Little to no foam or lacing. Aroma of nutty roasted malts, raw barley. Flavour is of smooth roasted malt with chocolate coffee tones. Somewhat thin mouth feel, but drinkable. Would like to try on tap. Good, decent beer.

Bottle. Pours a very dark brown with a tan head. Bittersweet nose with notes of roasted malt and coffee. Medium/full body with notes of roasted malt and coffee beans. A very enjoyable beer.

(bottle) Pours dark brown with an off-white head. Aroma is decent with roasted barley, dry cocoa, and slight coffee. Taste is strong of roasted barley with a big dose of coffee in the finish. Pretty thin mouthfeel.

[Bottle] Pours brown with a small light tan head. Aroma is barley, nutty. Taste is charred malt, some chocolate, a little nut and some barley. Medium-thin mouthfeel. Really not a whole lot going on, but it is alright

Pours a deep chestnut colour with a massive, rocky, but fading kahki head that leaves incredible lacing. The aroma is roasty and somewhat astringent, with some notes of lactic sourness and aluminum. The flavour has the same milky sourness and metalic notes above its rich coffee, nut and chocolate flavours, but it isn’t offensive to me like it is on the nose. The mouthfeel is creamy, slick and a little on the thin side, but with nice gentle carbonation. The residual flavours are roasty and bittersweet.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a dark brown with an off white head. Some coffee & chocolate in the nose with moderate mouthfeel. Taste was of coffee, chocolate & malts with a slight hop background. I loves my Stouts & Porters & this is a good middle of the road porter.

Bottle, 12 fl. oz. DØE Porter/Stout tasting. The beer pours a dark reddish beer, with a lightbrown head. The aroma is weak, but with notes of coffee and chocolate. Flavor is chocolate and coffee, with a light mouthfeel. The overall impression is just around average.
