Commercial Description:
St. Bridget, a legendary Irish saint, created a sensation by turning her bathwater into beer. What better way to celebrate her worthy miracle than with our zymurgistic tribute to her feat, St. Bridget's Porter. St. Bridget's is a smooth, elegant, and chocolaty brown porter. Brimming with coffee and chocolate characteristics from dark barley malts, St. Bridget's is carefully hopped to provide the perfect complement to its malty robustness.

35,5cl bottle. Pours pitch black with a creamy brown head & amazing lacings. Aroma is roasted malts - chocolate & smoke mainly. Filling & smooth body. An ashy edge & chcolate dominates throughout. Bitter roasted end. Pretty good, though not the best brew from Great divide, not the worst either!

Pours out a nice 1/2 inch thick head that falls thin with a nice sticky lacing. Smell is strong of coffee, but a little weak and not very deep. Taste is a little watery, with a cheap cigar bitterness in the aftertaste. Coffee flavor is barely apparent. The mouthfeel is watery and unimpressive. I don’t think I’ll have this again...unless I go to the brewery.

What a lot of foam for a porter. Dark brown almost black, not translucent. Nice sweet malt aroma. Nice chocolate flavor. Not too burnt which is nice. A decent dark.

pours a dark mahogany with medium beige/yellow head. Significant aroma of chocolate and roasted malts. Not as flavorful as I was expecting/hoping. Chocolate aroma is stronger than the actual flavor. Substantial/good palate. good porter

Very nice aroma of Milk Chocolate, Roasted Malt and Coffee., with a hint of cherry. Poured a dark cola brown, with a tan, medium sized foamy head that quickly became a thin cap. Left nice lacing on the pint glass. Taste was very nice! Started sweet with a milk chocolate, then a robust coffee that had a nice touch of bitter roasted malt with dark chocolate that ended with milk chocolate. A nice medium body that was slighly sticky and slightly creamy. Average carbonation. The finish was a long wonderful slighly bitter that ended with sweet with chocolate. A very unique Porter that is smooth and a pleasure to drink. I really like it and will add it to my favorite rotation. I love stouts and porters but this is one of the better Porters I’ve tried in a while! A Great job by Great Divide.

Deep reddish brown with small brown head and small lacing. Light aroma is roasty with chocolate. Flavor is similarly roasty with nice malts, hops and chocolate notes.

dark brown/black appearance flavor is of roasted and chocolate malt with a decent hop balance. flavor ends up just being a little too weak for a top notch porter

on tap at the ginger man, poured a dark black in color with minimal head on the beer. aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, and some dark raisin and plumb. taste is deep and dark, plenty of full malt, dark somewhat biting roast and chocolate, but incredibly smooth. really went down so smooth, has some almost creaminess to it, dark fruits started to come out as it had a chance to warm, really liked this one.
