Commercial Description:
St. Bridget, a legendary Irish saint, created a sensation by turning her bathwater into beer. What better way to celebrate her worthy miracle than with our zymurgistic tribute to her feat, St. Bridget's Porter. St. Bridget's is a smooth, elegant, and chocolaty brown porter. Brimming with coffee and chocolate characteristics from dark barley malts, St. Bridget's is carefully hopped to provide the perfect complement to its malty robustness.

Pours a deep ruby black with a sandy brown head that dissolves quickly. Tastes of burnt malts and some faint chocolate. hops do a good job of balancing the roasty malts with a little spiciness. very drinkable but a little thin.

Bottle. Medium head with medium duration. Color is balck with a ruby hue. Aroma is licorice and coffee. Taste is licorice and oats. More light than robust as the name is implied.

poured into a snifter. pours a loose dark ebony with carbonation present on the glass. single finger wide head, quick to dissipate. sweet mocha malts on aroma. slightly smoky, mocha bite, with light, watery finish. a mild aftertaste lingers, you feel a slight front tingle from the carbonation. watery on the palate, not very milky, a good, light, smooth porter...

A nice roasted flavor. Much more of simple barley flavors coming through than chocolate or coffee. Thin feeling, but good carbonation. Sweet end, with a little spiciness.

there are so many smells in this porter. had this from a bottle after a trip through cassell. the sweet smell of cave mudd compliments this brew nicely - go roll around in your backyard. Chocolate and coffee flavors, sweet honey and spice bananas. medium head disapperas quickly.

The color was a deep burgundy/brown. The head was light beige, thin, and fizzy. The aroma was coffee, roasty, barley, and a little sweet. The flavor was roasty. It had a grass taste to it. There was a hint of barley as well. The palat was smooth and the finish, raosty.

Bottle. Pour is dark brown with a medium sized speckled tan head. Aroma is earthiness and roast / cocoa. Taste has a nice roasted maltiness too it, with some of cocoa poking through also. Body and finish are a bit quick and thin.

Pours dark brown with a light brown head. Aroma is soil and chocolate with the earth tones dominating. Flavor is earthy with some chocolate notes. Good malt body and a bitter dry finish.
