Commercial Description:
St. Bridget, a legendary Irish saint, created a sensation by turning her bathwater into beer. What better way to celebrate her worthy miracle than with our zymurgistic tribute to her feat, St. Bridget's Porter. St. Bridget's is a smooth, elegant, and chocolaty brown porter. Brimming with coffee and chocolate characteristics from dark barley malts, St. Bridget's is carefully hopped to provide the perfect complement to its malty robustness.

Bottle. Coffee colored pour with a dense tan head. Roasty and smoky aroma, salty, faint malt, weak hops. Smells the way a porter should. Matching flavor, crisp and smooth, abrupt smoky finish. Watery on the palate. Well made and drinkable, but not hugely exciting.

Pours a dark. opaque brownish black with amber highlights and a quickly fading half-inch tan head. Sweet, smokey aroma of roasted malt. Flavor is rich and robust: lightly bittersweet malt with hints of coffee, smoke, and pecan shells. A nice, well-rounded porter.

very nice look and aroma, although head is pretty small and dissolves quickly.... taste somewhat watery for a porter, expected better after the initial presentation

Bottle: Pours with a big 2 finger off white head. Dark but wih deep red highlights. Aroma is toasty carame malt. Flavor is the same. Very malty and toasty but no roastiness that i enjoy in a porter. I know a porter shouldnt be as roasty as a stout but this doesnt really have any. Its 1 note mellow malt toast. Not my kind of porter.
