arrogantb (695), Denver, Colorado, USA Aug 17, 2009 Another attempt in my quest to drink most Colorado beers. This poured inky black with a tan head. It smelled like coffee and tasted like chalky cocoa and roasted malts. Yummy stuff from one of my favorite breweries here in Denver. This was a very solid porter.

Alot of flavor including chocolate, coffee, and a hint of smokiness. These guys do a good job. Bamos (18), Florida, USA Aug 11, 2009 Poured from 12oz bottle. Nice with malty sweetness but not quite enough roast. Hint of bacon/smoke as it warms. dimenhetfield (157), , Florida, USA Jul 31, 2009 Always bee a fan of Great Divide and they’ve never let me down. The aroma is somewhat "small" but you can definitly detect the chocolate and the dark barley in there. Hits the tounge with a coffee explosion. Very smooth. Defreni (994), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 29, 2009 Flaske: Brunlig øl med et fint lille skumhoved. Duften er sødlig brændt. Smagen er klassisk porter med en smule bitterhed i enden. Fin øl men ikke mere. puboflyons (589), New Hampshire, USA Jul 18, 2009 From the 12 fl. oz. bottle which was bottled on Dec 11, 2008. The pour is a handsome brown with ruby tints when held to the light. The aroma has the characteristics of chocolate and fresh hops. The mouthfeel is of medium-bold texture and creamy on the tongue. The taste is smooth balance of barley malts and chocolate with a dry hopped finish. Elegant.
