Commercial Description:
St. Bridget, a legendary Irish saint, created a sensation by turning her bathwater into beer. What better way to celebrate her worthy miracle than with our zymurgistic tribute to her feat, St. Bridget's Porter. St. Bridget's is a smooth, elegant, and chocolaty brown porter. Brimming with coffee and chocolate characteristics from dark barley malts, St. Bridget's is carefully hopped to provide the perfect complement to its malty robustness.

Bottled. Pours an opaque dark brown with a substantial and lacy tan head. Aroma of chocolate over roasty malt that has a touch of coffee and a tiny hint of hops behind it. Medim body and carbonation. Just a bit of sweetness in the taste with coffee, wood, vanilla and chocolate. Dry, slightly bitter finish.

12oz bottle. Aroma: Dark roasted malt with some coffee and slightly sour notes. Geting a bit of chocolate, too. A touch of piney hops. Appearance: Dark brown in color with small walnut highlights. Light beige head was ridiculously huge, rocky, and lasted a long time. Some nice spotty lacing. Flavor: Toasted nuts, coffee, chocolate. A light sourness and a bit of a metallic twang. A touch of smoke into the finish. Light citrus and piney hops into the finish, too. Palate: Medium bodied. Medium-high carbonation. Some roasted malt astringency on sides of the mouth. Overall: A decent porter, and drinkable, but nothing special.

Bottle. Pours out a deep black colour with a mild creamy tan head. Moderate lacing. Nose is coffee and malt. Taste is slightly salty, coffee, and roasted malt with a nice ash/fireplace character on the palate and on the way down. Smooth and mdium-full bodied but slightly chalky on the palate after it has gone down.

Poured a deep black with brown hues with a medium sized foamy slightly off white head. Grainy, slightly malty, nutty aroma. Heavy roasted malt flavor with a nutty finish. Definitely "robust" roasted flavor with coffee notes. Flavor stays on the palate for a while.

Pours a verk dark brown color. When holding it to a light it can been seen through and has a red hue. Almost nonexistant head. Aroma is mostly mast with a hint of roastyness. Seems high on carbonation whick tingles the tongue. Slight hint of chocolate. Definite malt and slight roastyness. Bitter finish on the back sides of the tongue. I wish it has a bit stronger roast but a decent porter.

Bottle.A dark brown with a slight tan head.Aromas of roasted barley, chocolate, coffee.Flavors of coffee and chocolate tingle the taste buds while the alcohol tames the sweetness .True, not as robust as some others but satisfying.
