Commercial Description:
St. Bridget, a legendary Irish saint, created a sensation by turning her bathwater into beer. What better way to celebrate her worthy miracle than with our zymurgistic tribute to her feat, St. Bridget's Porter. St. Bridget's is a smooth, elegant, and chocolaty brown porter. Brimming with coffee and chocolate characteristics from dark barley malts, St. Bridget's is carefully hopped to provide the perfect complement to its malty robustness.

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle which was bottled on Dec 11, 2008. The pour is a handsome brown with ruby tints when held to the light. The aroma has the characteristics of chocolate and fresh hops. The mouthfeel is of medium-bold texture and creamy on the tongue. The taste is smooth balance of barley malts and chocolate with a dry hopped finish. Elegant.

12 oz bottle from Bier Stein. Pours cola brown with a one inch tan head that sticks around. Aroma is smoky with hints of chocolate, coffee and caramel. Flavor is still mainly smoke with a bit of chocolate and a coffee finish. Mouthfeel is medium. A solid beer consumed in honor of my niece Bridget today on her birthday.

Pours deep brown-black with a thick tan-brown head. Aroma is mostly smoky coffee-chocolate. Flavor is sweet at first, with more of the coffee and chocolate, finishing fry and smoky. Could use to be thicker, otherwise nice.

Dark reddish brown pour with a thick light tan head. Light roasted malt aroma. This is a tasty porter that fits the budget nicely. It tastes great, it is full of flavor, sweet roasted malt. Full bodied. Great Divide does beer good.
