Commercial Description:
St. Bridget, a legendary Irish saint, created a sensation by turning her bathwater into beer. What better way to celebrate her worthy miracle than with our zymurgistic tribute to her feat, St. Bridget's Porter. St. Bridget's is a smooth, elegant, and chocolaty brown porter. Brimming with coffee and chocolate characteristics from dark barley malts, St. Bridget's is carefully hopped to provide the perfect complement to its malty robustness.

[bottle - 12 oz] Brown pour with red highlights and a quickly disappearing tan head. Mild aroma of roasted coffee, burnt malts and chocolate. Initial bitter coffee taste goes to a smooth and chocolaty middle and a flavor that’s mixed a little with malts and the slightest hop bitterness. Smooth and bitter coffee finish. Very, very tasty.

Bottle. Black in colour with a medium head. Malty and sweet. Kinda roasted with notes of chocolate and caramel. A bit too mild though.

This porter started out tasting good, but there was a bad after taste. It has a bad sour after taste. Nice dark color.

Pours brown with an orangey red tint and a fairly large foaming khaki head. Mild roast and chocolate aroma, some iced coffee. Mocha flavor, with a mild roasted finish. Medium body, almost velvety mouthfeel but for high carbonation and a slight husky, tannic astringency. A pretty good porter.

This develops a big tan head that fills with large holes as it tries to die off, sticking to the sides all the way down. Rich malt and chocolate aroma, almost like warm brownies in the pan. Sweet and choclatey, with a roast malt finish that’s slightly bitter. Nicely done.

Bottled. Pours an opaque dark brown with a substantial and lacy tan head. Aroma of chocolate over roasty malt that has a touch of coffee and a tiny hint of hops behind it. Medim body and carbonation. Just a bit of sweetness in the taste with coffee, wood, vanilla and chocolate. Dry, slightly bitter finish.
