Strong taste of milk and malts. Punchy finish. Very nice. Wouldn’t throw this out with the bathwater. Another delectable Great Divide. Terminus (1955), Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA

Nose is full of roasted coffee, cream, chocolate chip cookie, caramel, and a slight hint of vanilla. Chocolate malt is well balanced by the hops. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry bitter-sweet chocolate finish.. A nice session porter....

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 2, 2004 Deep brown-red. Nose is quite roasty, has plenty of hops. Roasty flavor, some raisin character mixes with coffee-esque bitterness. Nicely drinkable, not watery but still was quite quaffable. Nice stuff. tronraner (1938), Seymour, Tennessee, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Sep 17, 2005 Bottle. Pours a deep, amber-hued black with a pillowy tan head. The aroma is mostly chocolate with a touch of roasty malts. There is quite a bit of chocolate in the flavor, too, along with some fresh coffee and roasted malts. There is a finish of very earthy hops. A fine porter, this, though the palate is a bit thin and prickly.
