Commercial Description:
St. Bridget, a legendary Irish saint, created a sensation by turning her bathwater into beer. What better way to celebrate her worthy miracle than with our zymurgistic tribute to her feat, St. Bridget's Porter. St. Bridget's is a smooth, elegant, and chocolaty brown porter. Brimming with coffee and chocolate characteristics from dark barley malts, St. Bridget's is carefully hopped to provide the perfect complement to its malty robustness.

Dark, dark brown with a thick falling tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, vanilla. Decent body with a somewhat tart finish. Flavors of coffee, burnt toast, a little sweetness. Low hop presense.

Bottle... Poured near black with a big, creamy, beige head. Big toasted malt nose with a nutty, chocolate presence. Lots of carbonation on this one with noticeable coffee and mocha flavors up front. Delicate hops and big malts took over before the coffee finish.

Draught at the GD tap room. Very dark brown pour with a small tan head. Big aroma of dark roasted malt and coffee. Most of the same in the flavour except it finishes with some chocolate and just a hint of bitterness. Pleasant.

Dark brown/ruby color, small tan head. Aroma of roast and a little fruit. Flavor of weak roast and coffee. Thin body for a porter. A little sourness in the finish.

Nice dark brown though opaque in color with a sticky fully retained tan head. Aroma is of sweet roasted malt, alcohol, and a little dark chocolate. Flavor is more toward the smoked side and the palate is a bit thin, though that may be consistent for the style. Will be happy to sample more.

Poured a nice dark dark brown with a tan head. Aroma was very roasted and coffeeish. Flavor was also very roasted coffee, and a bitter hoppy finish, not too sweet at all
