Commercial Description:
St. Bridget, a legendary Irish saint, created a sensation by turning her bathwater into beer. What better way to celebrate her worthy miracle than with our zymurgistic tribute to her feat, St. Bridget's Porter. St. Bridget's is a smooth, elegant, and chocolaty brown porter. Brimming with coffee and chocolate characteristics from dark barley malts, St. Bridget's is carefully hopped to provide the perfect complement to its malty robustness.

Bottle. Black with small head. Roasted amlts, vegies, wood, minerals/metallic, short finish. Pleasent but nothing special in my book. Went well with Tiramisu. Thanks Jeppe and Jens.

deep brown with a thin layer of beige head, the aroma is chestnut and slightly caramelly. full bodied, this porter is very nutty and surprisingly dry. this is a smooth brew that is straight forward: a classic porter.

Deep brown, medium tan head, decent lacing. Malty aroma with faint roastiness. Medium mouthfeel, roasted coffee flavors well balanced by hops. Nice clean finsih of bitter hops. Pleasant and drinkable, although not as complex as some porters.

Pours a deep brown with garnet highlights and a creamy tan head that laces nicely. The nose is primarily heavy roasted malt backed by coffee. Medium-bodied and slick while remaining lively on the tongue, the mouthfeel finishes a slightly bitter and metallic. Typically, I really dislike a metallic finish, but the other textures and flavors kept it in line. The flavor follows the nose and is of dark roasted malts and burnt coffee. Effervescent, almost prickly on the tongue, this porter concludes with a nice lingering roasted finish.

Crushed with Jakebra. One of the chocolatiest porters I’ve ever had. Lots of roast and chocolate. Smooth, a little thin, but still an awesome porter.
