Commercial Description:
St. Bridget, a legendary Irish saint, created a sensation by turning her bathwater into beer. What better way to celebrate her worthy miracle than with our zymurgistic tribute to her feat, St. Bridget's Porter. St. Bridget's is a smooth, elegant, and chocolaty brown porter. Brimming with coffee and chocolate characteristics from dark barley malts, St. Bridget's is carefully hopped to provide the perfect complement to its malty robustness.

Dark leather with a tightly packed khaki head. The aroma is toffee, caramel, and fresh Starbucks coffee. The flavor is roasted malt, vanilla, and brown sugar. A bit thin but solid.

2009 Bottle - Pour is thin and dark with a small lt tan head...aroma is like a diet porter, lite roast, light cocoa...flavour is a bit thin, roasty malt, dk grain, slight coffee-like astringency with some hidden hop bitterness in the finish...probably one of the lowest I’ve had from GD...

Crushed with Jakebra. One of the chocolatiest porters I’ve ever had. Lots of roast and chocolate. Smooth, a little thin, but still an awesome porter.

pours a dark brown with a red tint when held up to the light, a medium size dark beige head, and great lacing. smell of milk chocolate, weak coffee, and a touch of sour malt. taste is smooth and creamy, sour malt, cocoa, coffee, and a touch of roasted nuts, ends a little bitter and on the dry side.

Pours very dark brown with a thin tan colored head. Flavor is nice with a chocolatey with nice malts in the aroma. Over all a nice porter

Just a few shades darker than a coke....this is a porter? The head made up for the color issues I had....very thick and foamy. Taste was very plain....just roasted nothingness with a slightly hoppy finish.....very unoriginal.
