Jul 29, 2007 Pours brown with no head. Very roasty malt and coffee aromas. Flavor includes coffee bean, more malts, and subtle hops in the finish. Well-rounded with decent carbonation. Good character.

Aug 14, 2007 Deep, dark mahogany pour. Off-white head that starts out big but eventually settles to a thin rim. Spotty lacing. The aroma is of roasted barley, coffee, chocolate, biscuit, and faint smoke.. The flavor follows suit, with mocha up front, followed by roasted barley, oats, coffee bitterness, and some hops. The body is very smooth and creamy. There are no surprises here. This brew has all of the standard porter aromas and flavors. Nothing out of the ordinary, but very well crafted. Nice brew.

Sep 29, 2008 This beers pours a nice deep deep reddish-brown color with a decent tan head that resolves to a thin layer of bubbles. It has a nice bready, malty, chocolatey aroma. The flavor is full of malty goodness with caramel and chocolate most prevalent. The aftertaste lingers with a pleasant sweetness. I’ll definitely get this beer again.

Nov 25, 2009 12 oz. bottle- Pours dark brown to black with a tan frothy head, aroma is of some coffee and dark chocolate malt, but not much actually. Taste is great, good coffee and chocolate flavors and has a very dry finish. Overall this is a very good if not great porter.

Jun 4, 2007 Bottle. 12 fl. oz. Very dark burgundy color with a light tan head. Aroma of chocolate and roasted malt. Medium to full bodied with a soft, creamy texture. Sweet chocolate flavor with a dry, moderately bitter finish. A solid porter.

Jun 10, 2009 Botte as shown. Pours a very dark brown with a medium frothy light tan head that lasts awhile leaving behind good spotty lacing along the glass. The aroma is roasted malt with coffee and sweet caramel. Thin mouthfeel and a bit watery on the palate. Taste is sweet roasted malt with coffee and caramel. Easy to drink a very good Porter from Great Divide.

Mar 6, 2008 Pours a dark dark brown with small tan head. Roasted malt and licorice on the nose. Taste is nice deep roasted flavor with a nice finish that goes from creamy to pleasantly bitter. Not the best porter I’ve had but worth the money for sure.
