Commercial Description:
St. Bridget, a legendary Irish saint, created a sensation by turning her bathwater into beer. What better way to celebrate her worthy miracle than with our zymurgistic tribute to her feat, St. Bridget's Porter. St. Bridget's is a smooth, elegant, and chocolaty brown porter. Brimming with coffee and chocolate characteristics from dark barley malts, St. Bridget's is carefully hopped to provide the perfect complement to its malty robustness.

Ah just like seeing an old friend long time gone from your life, this one has been gone for over 4 years, well this old friend, has come back to stay, as it’s now available in Arizona thanks to the great people at Little Guy Distributing. The beer after its disemboguing the 12-ounce brown bottle sets in my glass of honor a deep brown to almost black color the head portly in size, the texture semi-creamy and the color a toothsome light tan with the resultant lace a satin sheet to lie upon the glass. Nose is sweet with malt, lightly toasted grain aroma also present, crisps and clean to the senses, start is somewhat sweet with a pleasing grain profile, and the top is middling to full in feel. Finish has a delectable hop spicy bite, the acidity pleasant and the aftertaste dry and linger, a very good porter and one I hope to enjoy quite often, now that its home to roost.

Depp brown-reddish hue. Chocolate, vinous aroma. Roast chocolate flavour with a dry, bitter finish.

Poured from a bottle--gorgeous tan, pocked head that lasts a long time; poised on top of a deep brown body with a reddish tint. Nice aroma with hints of cofee and maybe choclate. Fairly rich roasted chocolaty-coffee flavor. Almost full-bodied but just slightly "lite", in my opinion. Very nice brew overall though.

Dark in color with a roasted malt nose and a nice chocolate in the body. Subtle bitterness; slightly thin. Overall very decent porter.

Nearly black colored, small layer of a head on top. toasted malt nose. Nice toasted malt taste - some light milk chocoalte traces. Medium long aftertaste. Nice - well balanced.

damn tasty, nice thick hearty porter. A good malt character. More like a stout lite. Another good offering from Great Divide.
