| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 22, 2008 Pours an almost black color and has a brown head. Aroma is like most porters. This one focuses on the chocolate and roasted dark malts. Flavor has some coffee and a lot of chocolate to it. It is a smooth porter and not offensive to even the most mild sensibility. Not a robust porter as a previous reviewer noted (my archetype of that porter style is smuttynose). Overall quite nice. Great Divide does not like to disappoint. pojo41 (315), Hattiesburg, Mississippi, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jan 15, 2008 Bottle. Nearly black in color with a creamy, slightly off-white head. Rich aroma of roasted malts, coffee and bitter chocolate. with the hops lurking in the background. Nice, smooth creamy palate and flavor of those same malts and bitter chocolate plus a bit of hop bitterness for good measure. I enjoy a good porter and this is a very tasty example. jredmond (1081), New Jersey, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 1, 2008 Bottle. Pours black with small tan head. Aroma of roasted malts and coffee. Flavor is coffee, roasted malts, and hints of chocolate. Flavor is not really robust, but it is well balanced. The mouthfeel is a little thin, almost watery but well carbonated and still pleasant. A solid porter, but not outstanding.
